Mission
Freeport’s mission is to support the efforts of families and communities to create environments where all children thrive.
- The children, families and communities with whom we have joined guide our efforts.
- We partner with others to expand resources and increase the effectiveness of support provided to families and communities.
- We contribute resources, teach new skills and create experiences that facilitate healthy learning, and actively support the strengths and efforts of youth and families.
- We work with those youth and families most likely to experience poverty, oppression, institutionalization and violence.
- Because we believe that poverty, oppression, institutionalization and violence are barriers to the creation of healthy environments, we actively challenge these conditions
